I'm not a big fan of futures trading so niether short nor long for this case. But from the point of Polygon and Matic fundamental analysis it is great and already solution for ETH ecosystem.

My opinoin is to buy some matic once and add more every period of time ( like month ). Forget about the "Sell" botton.
