When did the Devil tempt Christ? (GC #32)

In Matthew 4-10, Christ says: Depart from me, Satan, because it is written: worship the Lord your God and serve Him alone. These words are related to the temptation to Christ. This makes me ask:

According to the account of Matthew, it was after the baptism of Christ Jesus.

You may read the account from the ending verses of Matthew chapter 3 and the early verses of Matthew chapter 4.

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. Matthew 3:16 - 4:3 (KJV)
