Can money give us all the joy we need?

I witnessed a discussion among some young people and i observed many agreeing that acquisition of wealth gives one all the happiness needed. Could this be true?

If someone asked me to list the 10 most important things in my life, money wouldn't get a mention.

  • Family.
  • Home.
  • Food.
  • Health.
  • Transportation.
  • Faith and SteemChurch.
  • Sports, especially with my children.
  • Education and learning.
  • Personal improvement.
  • Freedom.

Unfortunately money plays a role in maintaining all of these things. However, if you believe that money is the key to your happiness, you are not a well balanced person and likely miserable.

More importantly - if you can acquire and maintain the above without money - you will be very satisfied with your life.

Make no mistake, governments and corporations want you to believe that money is important, but it does not need to be.

💰 answereth all things. however, it does not give joy neither satisfaction in life, but it could make you comfortable to some extent. secondly, the source of the 💰 determines what it comes with. if it's not from God, be raised assure of many sorrows

Money and wealth cannot totally give us the joy we need. Joy is a state of mind so with or without money, we should be joyous.

However, only Jesus Christ can give one true and lasting joy.

No i don't think we need money to be happy in life, one can have money and do not have peace of mind.

Joy is a sign of inward grace. Money is not.
Money may provide some comfort to you but not joy.
