Is it good for a born again christian to be rich?

Have come across people that say having too much money as a Christian is bad.
Some will say have money but not too much.
While some will say do not even have at all.

What is your take on this?

The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty. - Haggai 2:8

As born again Christian and children of God, What belongs to God, belong to us automatically. so it's not bad for Christians to be rich

100% right. Poverty does not profit the kingdom of God because through prosperity shall the kingdom be spreed abroad.

However stealing and looting public funds in the name of getting rich is bad. Godliness with contentment is great gain

God is also the God of prosperity therefore if you say that you should be poor to follow Christ, then that is hypocrisy. Some say that since Christ was not rich, then we should not also be rich. That is a lie. Christ had the power to be rich however, He came to this world for salvation. However, do not claim that Christ was poor; He holds the power of the world. He is the Son of God who created the whole world so why are you confusing yourself? He had every thing He needed and besides, the Bible says, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and EVERY other thing shall be added unto you". "Every other thing" includes healing, prosperity, breakthroughs and many more. He is also the God of multiplication as is shown in the feeding of the 5000. So, please, do not confuse yourself.

If someone has accumulated enormous wealth, there has no doubt been plenty of opportunity to distribute that wealth thereby improving the lives of others.

I think Christians should strive to work hard, educate themselves and become wealthy, if this is what they desire. At the same time however, they should be creating opportunities for and be always striving to improve the lives of others.
