Excellent question Victor, truly excellent.

My answer.

In a brief private prayer, I might pray to the Father (Matthew 6:9).

However I should more often pray to the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, (John 14:14), as it was Jesus who sacrificed himself for our sins.

Just as important though, to pray in the spirit. (Ephesians 6:18).

Here you go Victor, one for you - what is meant by praying in the Holy Spirit? (I will submit question).

SirKnight

you pray to the father in the name of Jesus.

Jesus said what ever you ask the father in my name..

The way to the Father is Jesus. You pray to God through Jesus Christ!
