To grieve Holy Spirit is to grieve Jesus Christ, and to grieve Jesus Christ is to grieve God the father!

Best way to avoid grieving the Spirit of God is by total love for God which is proved by total obedience to God's commandments.

Our greatest treasure in this life as followers of Christ is this Spirit of God; the comforter who hath sealed our salvation.

Although many do not see it that way, the holy spirit is the third person of the trinity, I have heard it said that it is a force, a power, but no, the precious spirit is the comforter, when it says that we can grieve it because it has emotions, feelings, in the original scripture he says: you do not grieve the spirit, the holy spirit is a gentleman and he does what we allow him to do, sometimes when we do things contrary to God, we live in strife, selfishness, lack of love, or when we reject his company he feels hurt, that the holy spirit is beautiful, we fall asleep and he is there and when we get up he is still with us, Jesus said: it is necessary that I leave because when the comforter will come, the spirit That will guide you to all truth.
