Well, I didn't have any feeling or many I couldn't recall, reason being that I didn't understand what I was into, I followed my parents to church and believed what I was told about God and his Christ.

Now that I've grown in reasoning, I've beginning to ask questions, getting more understanding about what it means to give one's life to Christ.

Now I know that it is not about 'feelings' but about 'knowing', just like Paul says, now that I grow in understanding in the knowledge of God and his Christ the living word; I die daily

For me, giving my life to Christ is not pleasant to my flesh because it's all about the mortification of my members.

Romans 8:13 (KJV)
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Colossians 3:5 (KJV)
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

The above mentioned are the things that the flesh derives happiness from, but giving one's life means that one must deny and kill his body from indulging on these things.

I can not conclude without mentioning this, Joy of salvation is an experience that begins after a man is baptized and is filled with the Spirit of God, it is constant and flourishes as one grows in faith and knowledge toward perfection.

That joy is constant in me, and it grows daily as my relationship with GOD deepens. It wasn't there when I was just going to church as a born Christian, rather it started growing as my personal knowledge of GOD deepens.

I hope you enjoy my personal experience.

Awesome question. This is one question that cannot be answered in one shot. At the initial stage, it was like an achievement to brag about especially to those i knew hadn't. But each passing day, as I grow in knowledge and revelation, the joy gets broader and broader.

Wow wow wow. I felt like all my burdens in life were lifted. Anyway, other unexplainable experiences followed.

Relieved. For He saved the life of a loved one. I swore my service from that day forth.
