Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me - just as the Father knows me and I know the Father - and I lay down my life for the sheep." [John 10:14 NIV]

Jesus gave up His life for our salvation. He is a shepherd that will give His life for His sheeps. Are you a sheep under

Jesus is a good shepherd and I am one of His sheeps. I am proud to recite Psalm23

Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Thanks for that lovely question, I have experience what it is like to be a shepherd because I used to help my dad in leading his sheep to the field for food.

But I couldn't imaging giving my life to the sheep at any time, yes it is true that i can do all thing within my reach to save and guide them from death and danger but not to such extent of dying for them.

That's why Christ is the good shepherd because non other shepherd has gone to such level of dying for his sheep.
