My entry for goldencenser challenge #27. Are you holding your brother's sin against him

... God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. [2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV]

The bible says, while we are yet sinners Jesus died for us. God sent His son, Jesus to die for our sins and reconciled us back to Him. This is the highest level of love. He did not hold our sins against us.

Are you holding your brother's sin against him or you are trying to reconcile with him?

I believe this should be a kind of rhetorical question.
Everyone should look inward and see if they are holding anybody's sin against him. If there is any, they should ask God for forgiveness and try to reconcile with

Our lives should be with great accountability, meaning that it is good that we do not allow the sun to set daily without forgiving those that trespass against us.

Forgiveness is even more profitable to the forgiver. Sometimes someone might offend us without knowing, it is our responsibility to forgive them, and to call their attention if need be.

Thanks for this lovely question.

Forgiveness is one thing we should not neglect id we need God's forgiveness. When Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 11, we see him pray that "our heavenly Father would forgive is even as we forgive others".

We should not hold down the wrong of our brothers. We should forgive and move on. Love and unforgiveness cannot be together.

Nothing to see yet
