Golden Censer wisdom - should we repair the damage?

Golden Censer Challenge #26

"Let every priest receive the money from one of the treasurers, then use it to repair whatever damage is found in the temple.” [2 Kings 12:5 NIV]

What does this Golden Censer wisdom mean to me?

There is destruction all around at this time. Some destruction due to natural disasters and some due to neglect. Communities must not turn a blind eye to damage and destruction, as it breeds complacency and sorrow.

As a family must repair the damage to their home and keep their home in order. A community must pool resources and assure their buildings and infrastructure are in good working order.

What does this Bible passage mean to you?

For me, I see from that passage that God made all things beautiful and perfect and so He wants them to be. There is no defect in God, as such all those who are named after God must make efforts to amend he damages around us. Thanks Sirknight for sharing this word.

Priests are those that are in the leadership of the church and God entrust on them great responsibility of church affairs, they are being looked up to in rebuilding the church. This could be called a golden rule that applies to all angles of life; starting from home unit to government, to communities.

Repair is important in our world. For me, this passage of the scripture is directing everyone to be conscious of repairing damages instead of destroying lives, affairs, relationships, marriages, governments, global peace.

Rich nations should source out funds to help poor nations around our world.

SteemChurch is a good example of a community that is healing our world, sourcing funds for repair of lives in Africa, Venezuela, Ghana etc.

Let everyone see his or herself as a leader and a priest who is capable of raising funds for repairs, funds of love, peace, unity, technology, commerce, industries etc.

For me, I see from that passage that God made all things beautiful and perfect and so He wants them to be. There is no defect in God, as such all those who are named after God must make efforts to amend he damages around us. Thanks Sirknight for sharing this word.
